Second Strength Coach hired?

Leaving Hawaii to come to RU at a lower level position. Prior connection to his new boss. 1 year experience in the NFL to go along with college.

Wasn't Hawaii dropping their Football program ? Total lack of interest there and Travel Costs.

Excellent hire by RU for our S&C program.

if true, someone better do a wonderlic test on him.......leaving Hawaii for new brunswick nj

These guys are looking to improve their career opportunities. He's now the #2 guy at a Power 5 school. I understand it's VERY expensive to live in Hawaii and he'll be paid more at RU.

I'm biased but if he likes the beach, he's always got the Jersey Shore lol.

Weight room medicine balls will now be known as "Beamer Balls." No? Meh, regardless, welcome Coach!

You may be on to something. There have been rumors out there that Hawaii football is in deep financial trouble.

They were actually going to drop the Program this season...think they got a stay of execution.

I posted this on the Roundtable. It's a shame what's happened to UHs program. My wife is from Hawaii and my father in law played there briefly in the early 70s. He played with a few future NFLers and they had success in the recent past with June Jones. Their facilities are bad, support is minimal (they do have some very loyal fans though) and pay for coaches is not good.

Are we sure he is not Chris Elliot?

Was he a teammate of Parker at Florida?
Parker was on the s&c staff the first year Beemer was a player. I think more important is that he was in Mickey Marotti's s&c program for 4 years as both a player and on staff...

Love those 2 videos!

Nice that he wanted to be a coach when he was a senior and said he wanted to help kids.

Well, with his energy and enthusiasm (and new job!), he has another chance to do so!

Best of luck!

Went to the UNLV vs Hawaii game while in Vegas. We sat with the Hawaii parents. They talked a lot about this with my buddies and I. Seems the team and the parent all acknowledge the fact that the programs is basically dead.

Not that it matters but any game at Hawaii features more garbage flying around/floating than in any sporting event at any level anywhere in the world. What up wit dat?

The NFL pulled Pro Bowl from Hawaii for a year and were told to get their act together. The U of Hawaii is run by the same people running the USPS and McDonald's. They ruin more than football at Hawaii.

OHANA!
