Sellout Breakthrough?

I don't know where or who created this narrative regarding a sellout game jinx or whatever it is....but there hasn't been many sold out games and if they're sold out, it's because it's usually an elite or name opponent.

People create storylines out of thin air....here's the story....if the games on a weekend, it's more likely to be sold out.

Just saying it would be nice to win this one in front of a sellout crowd. I fully get the prior 3 losses have been against the best teams on our schedule.

Could be my imagination or could be legit. It just seems sometimes that when the crowd gets going, people start playing hero ball. Shoot if I got that jacked up on adrenaline, I’d probably jack up some shots too. (And sometimes, people thrive on those moments ala Corey for some reason made a bunch of clutch shots over his career.) But if a bad turnover then gets made, frustration sets in and its a roller coaster of emotion. There’s nothing wrong with going for the big three, IMO. Just hope it’s within the system and a good look. By going for the “blow the roof off” shot, you might just kill the entire momentum with a bad play. That’s where I think experience comes into play. We’ll get there eventually. I know we will.

Yes, the bandwagon fans are little by little coming back. It is nice to have them but it would be nice if they supported our team through thick and thin. Us die hards are the ones who really appreciate the improvements. We have been through so much over so many years, in my case 58 years since 1971 when I attended my first RU game.

That’s only 48 years. You’re not quite the old-timer you think you are.

We've beaten the spread the last 6 games, and 9 of the last 11.... it's at RU+1.5/+2 right now, and hopefully we beat it again and win the game.
