I’ve watched it a dozen times and still cant see exactly what she did.
It’s like some sort of Jedi mind trick. A seriously ridiculous move, and she canned the jumper to boot.
Hilarious. I keep replaying it trying to figure out what the hell I just saw. This is the first time I've seen it with the play by play. The announcers literally had no reaction. I guess they couldn't process it in real time, lol.
The announcers make it hilarious. Almost like that diving catch in the movie major league. Hit and caught. I mean zero enthusiasm from the play by play. That was so friggin cool and all we get is basically. Dribble and basket.
She did a crossover dribble but spun away from the ball before going after it. If the defender is more focused on the ball than the ball handler, that could just be giving the ball away for a breakaway layup. Freeze the replay just before the two second mark and you can see both players not looking at the ball.
