The amount of QB's in the state of Texas is mind boggling....check any NFL roster
I'm convinced it's the wind down there. Kids never throw in perfect conditions growing up.

Can't be done here because Laviano has so much potential. Lol. We are a joke with that guy at the helm. Wow, he lifts weights really well. He's a glorified meathead who can't throw the ball down the field.

you forgot to mention that this kid has studs at every position helping him from years of Texas recruiting 4 and 5 stars at every position. Our true fresh is 6 foot 5 and had a nice offer list. This kid at Texas could have attended any school in the country. Only thing Rutgers and Texas have in common is that we both have football teams that's it not one of our players would start at Texas.

Remember, we lost to Texas twice and what was that kids name again at QB for them. Oh, something Simms.

Forgot which team it was yesterday, but I think it was a P5 school, played 18 true freshmen during the game ! Must have played the whole class.

That kid is going to be nice, no crazy injuries this team gets 8 wins minimum, i knew all Strong needed was time and he was gonna turn this thing around

6'2 185 not the same as 6'5 190. Oh and they run a totally different o then us with him in. AND he was top 5 QB in the country last recruiting cycle. So what's your point?

6'2"/185 is 2.5 pounds per inch. Add 3 inches , and that's 192.5. Don't see what difference the offense makes. We would run a totally different offense with a TRUE dual threat and mobile QB--an effective one, perhaps. The point is Freshman QBs start at a lot of top schools. What difference does the star rating make?

I doeant matter what either qb weighs. Have you seen how skinny Odin looks? It looks like he would be cracked in half if he got tackled the wrong way.

The Louisville QB is similar build to Oden and he's one of the best duel threats in the country. Weight has nothing to do with him not starting, he just needs to learn how to run the offense.

Too skinny.

Oregon fans were quite taken by Oden. At one point he was rated 4 stars.

Is he listed 5th on the depth charts? If so,has anyone ever jumped to #1 from that spot? I would think if there's any chance he plays this year, you'll start to see him climbing up the depth in the weeks to come, or he red shirts. That's what logic would say.
