Texas blows out the Jayhawks in the XII championship game. Game was in Kansas City at that. That’s now two 15+ point wins by Texas over KU this week.
They finish with the same XII record (13-6).
Texas wins the championship of arguably the toughest conference, and in an away game.
Texas has no losses in Q2, 3, or 4. Only Q1.
I’ve watched a lot of KU games the last month, they don’t pass the eye test of an overall #1 seed

Thoughts

Yes, they should. They have essentially the same record, they've played three times and Texas won twice (including the last two games, played this week, that were both blowouts). Also, Texas is conference champion.

Kansas has a ridiculous # of quality wins.

Kansas has 17 Q1 wins. 17!!!

And 7 losses, all against Q1 opponents.

I guess Texas looked good last night, but overall they have never looked like a potential #1 seed to me.
