Rutgers has the longest NCAA tournament drought of any Power 5 team, 27 years and counting. Auburn and TCU made the NCAA's last year, so RU's drought is 13 years longer than the next closest team, DePaul.
Hopefully Coach Pikiell can get the team there before too long. The future is getting brighter.

44 teams have never played in the tournament. Only four have been eligible since the beginning in 1939, and never played: Army, Citadel, St. Francis (Brooklyn) and William and Mary.

Looking at the list of the 44, it appears that all Power 5 teams have made the NCAA's at least once with Northwestern being the last Power 5 team to make the tournament in 2017.

I think most of we long timers knew all or most of that even though we’d like to forget it. One thing that’s kind of interesting and won’t be changing this season is that Nebraska has never won an NCAA game.

Win a game? I want to win all the games.
Ok, of course. I was there when we won a bunch of em. My pt is most seem like they just want to make it in. Which honestly is understandable. I just remember Greg's goal started with winning a bowl game. Not getting to one.
