"Last Friday, Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor offered up a a fairly straightforward promotion to coincide with the weekend’s Michigan-Rutgers game: From Sunday to Thursday, the restaurant would discount meals to match the winning point differential. If Michigan wins by 20 points, diners get 20 percent off their meal. Easy enough, right? Sure, until the game was a total blowout, with Michigan winning 78 to nothing."

Ruth Chris has great happy hour specials. After that it's not even close to worth the money.

This is funny because a 78% discount is about what it would take to make a Ruth's Chris meal worth the money.

Possibly. Depends on how much gas you'll burn driving there so it is a question of proximity at 78% off. If there is a Longhorn 10 miles closer, just go to Longhorn for better value.

Just fill your car with soda cans & use the 10 cent deposit to pay for the meal

It may have "backfired" but it made the national news on GMA this morning. Just what we needed.

I guess they're thankful they put the 50% cap on. The one article I saw said with alcohol sales (not included in discount) the store will still make a bunch if money.
