It wasn't reviewable because the ball was too high? That was a tough loss for Indiana.

"For an extra point or a field goal try to be ruled “good,” the kicked ball must clear the crossbar (by going over it) and pass between (or directly above one of) the uprights of the goalpost."

The ball clearly went directly above the upright.

The ball clearly went directly above the upright.

At the point that the ball reached the back of the end zone,
where the crossbar and the uprights reside,
it looked like the ball was a foot inside the upright.

It doesn't matter where it looks like the ball is when it crosses the goal line.

If the kick was reviewable, the call on the field would have been overturned,
in favor of 3 points for Indiana.

unfortunately, a FG attempt cannot be reviewed if it is determined that the ball went above the uprights...it can only be reviewed to determine if it went inside or outside the uprights.. But then again.. if your fmr Big East officials... you still get it wrong

No doubt that from the ground camera the kick was good. The official standing at the left goal post has one job and one job only and incredulosly, he blew it. They MUST withhold his paycheck and suspend him for next season. There MUST be consequences for these guys blowing calls.
