So this recruiting thing is all a sham?

A link to a posting dated tomorrow with our 2016 class at Philly.com - a day early - posted on their web site. Temple too.

I take it the point is the link is dated Feb 3, but the article byline still says updated Feb 2. Looks like they are jist trying to get ahead of the game.

I think this proves the recruiting classes are all predetermined by a secret society and philly.com let the cat out of the bag a day early. Signed letters are just for show!

It is a little known fact that there is a group of the 5 most powerful people in college sports known as "The Pentavalente" who run everything to do with college football including what schools recruits will attend.

They meet tri-annually at a secret location high up in the Rockies known as "The Meadows" where they dole out HS Seniors, Post Grads, and JUCO's (except RU) to the various programs. The stuff you see here and elsewhere is just for show.

This will appear in tomorrow's print edition of the Inquirer. They post their material online earlier than most other newspapers, but I recall how they did signing day last year, and this is definitely part of it. There is always the chance that the actual list may add/subtract one or two kids, but they give it their best shot.
