RUTBAY, from what I have been hearing is that Rutgers is a better situation. Being in the B1G and Syracuse is probably a loooooonnnggg way off of being turned around. Urban advised him to take the RU job if either of the two. I don't think Babers had anything to do with Ash. Ash was the one who rescinded his name and not that 'Cuse was picking Babers over him..... So no he did not settle for Rutgers.

Syracuse ASPIRES to be a stepping stone school. I guarantee that if by some lining up of the stars that Babers has a good season he will be immediately scooped up by a real FB program. (No knock on Babers, but if he's THAT good, he's gone.)

The former. The fans at Sadexcuse are delusional, because they know their program has fallen to the depths from where it was fifteen years ago. But I do think for them Dino Babers is a very good hire.
