TEAM NOTES
• Rutgers trailed 52-27 with 5:25 left in the third quarter. RU responded with 28 unanswered points. The comeback from down 25 points matches the largest in school history. On Nov. 29 2014, Rutgers defeated Maryland 41-38 after trailing 35-10 in the third quarter.
• The Scarlet Knights scored 28 unanswered points to finish the game.
• With 107 combined points, the total was the most combined points scored in a Rutgers regulation game. The total tied a 55-52 win over SMU on Oct. 5, 2013, a game that went into a third overtime.
• It was the second all-time meeting between Rutgers and Indiana. Rutgers has won both games in the series.
• Robert Martin rushed for three touchdowns and Leonte Carroo had three reception touchdowns. It was the first time in school history that Rutgers had a player with three rushing touchdowns and a player with three receiving touchdowns.
