How come these sound so familiar?

"This game actually made me sick to my stomach."

"I need counseling because I keep coming back for more."

"This is why so many Hoosier fans become ND fans during football season."

"Never in my life have I seen this type of defensive incompetence, never!"

"If you can't secure a win, then a MELTDOWN will do just fine. I'm pleased with the performance."

"Oh, I'm quite aware of the history of futility that is IU football, but this is a completely new level."

"I'm not angry that IU lost. I'm not angry that IU lost after leading big in the 2nd half. I'm not angry that IU just committed the most embarrassing meltdown in the history of B1G football. I'm angry that I went to the effort of giving a damn. I'll never do that again."

After the loss was complete, "I heard a father tell his son, "you can say you were here to witness this."

"After 20 years, this is the game that does it, I'm done!"

As least nobody complained that it happend against lowly Rutgers.

Trust me they did. And the "Wilson must go" threads are there. The discussion on worst fans, lack of support...players not staying home....

It is our board with a deeper shade of red.........

There definitely were posts about losing to "lowly" Rutgers on the board and some blogs of theirs I've seen.

I mentioned the reaction over there in one of the threads after the game. Fanbases are all the same for the most part. There was even an I told you so type post about some who were chastised for their complaints/concerns when IU was 4-0 and now see those complaints/concerns were justified now having lost 3 in a row including the last one in such a fashion. Tell me we haven't seen that same dynamic here many times in both directions good to bad and bad to good. It's even referenced in posts above.

Fanbases are generally the same and if you look around I gotta say we probably have one of the more tolerating/patient/optimistic ones out there.

Funny ... It doesn't sound like they were happy to almost beat Rutgers???? :)

Sounds like a good portion of our board after a loss
I went onto the IU board for a bit after the game, comments were quite harsh towards us, how we are just a bad team, and how could they do what they did in the second half against us, of all teams. No respect.

i enjoy that too...esp when we were in the BE going into Cuse or Uconn sites and thrive off our good fortune after thrilling victories observe and their misery...lol..

The man can't resist his attack on our fan base

I can't resist a tracking asshats even if they consider themselves Rutgers fans.

I remember when WVU first defected...I think they went their first 6 or 7 games winning by similar scores and many of our fanbase were creaming their pants on how they would love to watch 50-40 scores win or lose. Some asshats now aren't happy with almost losing or in my book "winning" by that type of score

Don't bust my balls that I have a problem with so called fans that can't enjoy a win or hope we lose.

I don't understand. They lost, which really means they won. Shouldn't they be happy?

I don't understand the comparisons. What games have we blown 25 point leads and lost?

Indiana averaged 3.5 wins a year for the last 20 years. That is hard to do. How any of their fans can call RU lowly is amazing.

You and VK lead the league in subtle criticism of fans.
