This has all the pieces in place to be a great era,but people seem to think that Rutgers basketball did not exist previous to 2016. Guess what. Rutgers was the dominant eastern program from 1967 to 1979. Only competition was St John's and Syracuse. Many postseasons and postseason wins. 2 First Team All-Americans in Lloyd and Sellers. And the national spotlight.2024-25 can be a great season. But fans in many other posts should not ignore what was the greatest era in Rutgers basketball to date.
