'Splain the Difference Between Chop Blocks / What Army & Navy Do?

Very quick and dirty difference: Cut blocks are taking out a player's legs. Chop blocks are taking out a players legs while another player makes a higher hit at the same time.

I've seen half the game on DVR, and the first chop block was definitely a legit call. One OLineman fired off at the thighs of their DLineman to knock him down, and as he was falling down another OLineman hit him up around the shoulders. Can't high-low a guy like that. I don't know about the second one.

exactly... player is engaged by another player. So the low block on the legs is considered a chop block. The service academies use cut blocks, but initially shooting low.
