I agree and think the initial 2 games and the minute breakdown will look like what we saw in Spain. From there, we'll probably see some matchups and goal to bring Mulcahy, Doucoure and Kiss into a rotation where the staff can bring them minutes and find out as quickly as possible what they can do well, without solely relying on the day to day grind of practices.
With Shaq Carter appearing to have taken the offseasons to improve, I feel like he is a lock for minutes every night and see him as the 1 of the Top 9.
The question is how far or reliable in spots can we find successful or minutes for Doucoure and Kiss. I definitely see their minutes as more of a wait and see where matchups lie.
I think fans are likely going to go overboard and panic, if and when Peter Kiss likely has a better chance initially in the 1st half of the season to see more success than Mulcahy. It's not that Mulcahy isn't going to be very important, but we should look at how uneven or at times very shaky our frosh looked in the 1st 2 months last year.
Kiss is a 4th year junior with his 3rd year in the program and I think has a very specific role of spot up shooter.....and with better passing and driving threats around him, he's not going to be asked to create his own offense off the dribble.
