That's what we are going to get from Schiano in the Big 10. We will never challenge for the BIG title or have more than 8 wins, 8 wins would be a great year under Coach Schiano. Be happy with 6-6, 7-5 years and be ecstatic next year if we can win 6 games with the brutal schedule. Forget about yesterday's poor decision by coach, there is enough evidence to see what we have with Coach. He's overall record is 93-100, his record since 2020 is 25-33. His conservative, risk averse, "playing not to lose" style doesn't work in the modern football game. Why keep "fair catching" kick-offs and punts? Yes, you can point to the injuries and lack of depth, lack of NIL, at the end of the day, you can't lose a game when the other team has 4th and 12 with less than 20 seconds left, why rush 6?

Based on not just yesterday but if I look at Schiano's body of work, what gives you hope that he is nothing more than a "mediocre" coach who's stone age coaching style doesn't work for modern football. Your record is what it is and his record point to "Mediocrity".
