Danny Breslauer will provide the play-by-play and Austin Johnson will offer the analysis for the stream, which will utilize the World’s Most Famous Arena’s in-house videoboard feed. Fans who follow Rutgers Athletics on Facebook will receive a notification through the app when the stream begins.

Better then nothing, but I have difficulty watching games on computer cause I get distracted. Giants playing at the same time won't help.

The fact they're using the in-house videoboard feed will drive non-arena viewers a little batty. The in-house feed usually runs tons of replays while there is action taking place on the court. Danny and Austin's audio will often not match up with what's showing on video.

It goes without saying this is better than no video feed at all.

Got a notification on Facebook today from Rutgers athletics that allowed me to calendar the streaming of the game and I'll apparently get an alert once it starts. Anyone else get this?

I'm guessing because this is FB Live, no replay feature will be offered, correct? Just a one-time shot, live only?

I actually think it should be replayable if you go to the Rutgers athletics facebook page afterward (and are signed into facebook). It is not a very sophisticated video platform though, since facebook sucks.

Wow, thanks for the reply. Can anyone else confirm or deny this? I have a conflict that's gonna make me miss the first half and possibly some of the 2nd half... but if it's replayable, then I will just watch it from beginning to end later on tonight.

Yes jtung, you likely need to be logged in to facebook. And while I cant guarantee it, I believe the video should be accessible afterwards as long as the page manager does not delete it. Go to RU athletics page and look for videos.

How is this game not on tv? That's small time and not helping fan support for the program.

I just went to some of the news stations' facebook pages since they do Facebook Live a lot--you are able to watch those old videos in their entirety so I imagine today's game will be the same. You also can view those videos when you are not signed into facebook/don't have an account--think it'll be the same for the game as well since RU Athletics facebook is a public page.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't figure out how to get the video up on my monitor. While the broadcast is poor (is it WRSU guys?) and the image quality is ultra-low definition, its great to be able to watch at all. Considering the days when I first moved to Oregon in '91 and listened to games via the phone with the receiver taped to a microphone and then played through my stereo, this is awesome!
