It's 50/50 whether he would be back this season, not this weekend...there was always 0% chance of that.

it's obvious that he wouldn't be back with RU (if at all) until February at the earliest. That way he could get his minimum of 4 matches to qualify for the B1Gs & NCAAs.

He only needs 4 matches for Big Tens and NCAAs to be seeded. He can be 0-0 and enter unseeded

I think this is a great decision for Nick and Rutgers. It gives Nick more international experience and helps to prepare him for the Olympic trials. He could also compete against two of his major competitors for the US team.

Then he could return to RU and compete in the BIG and NCAA tournaments. Nick could become a national champ for the second time and also make the Olympic team. Who can argue with that.

Really nicely done by Goody. While I have doubted Goody, again he proves me wrong.

Gives Nick the chance to achieve his dreams and reinforcing his claim to being an all time great.

SOOOOOO wanna see NS vs SL at NCAA's!!!

I hope he returns at some point to RU to wrestle, preferably this year for the Bigs and NCAAs and gets a chance at getting revenge on Lee when he is 100%. Then we can see who is better.
