A bit off-topic, but I just showed that video to our dog (mostly a Great Dane). His response was that Sweet Pea looked very tasty. I mean, in dog language it was "woof woof smack smack woof", with a lot of tongue and drool. But I speak dog and it translates "yum, very tasty".
Our dog roamed the WV mountains for over a year before we rescued him. And, while kind strangers in the area were feeding him now and then, it appears smaller animals of all kinds were part of his regular diet. And he does spend an inordinate amount of time sniffing small dogs and smacking his lips the way dogs do when they see something they'd like to eat, like a pizza or a pint of Ben & Jerry's.
I mean, he's a very loving dog now. But sometimes, when dinner is a little late, he looks at us in a way that makes me think it might be unwise to fail to feed him for a couple days.
I'm just saying.
