Syracuse: The Oregonian, citing a source, reports that Syracuse offered their head coaching position to Scott Frost prior to Frost accepting the same job at UCF. Brandon Helwig (who covers UCF) reports that Frost’s annual compensation at UCF is expected to be in the $2 million per year range. The Oregonian reportsthat Syracuse’s offer to Frost began at $1.2 million per year, a puzzling number given that it is below what Scott Shafer made and every other head coach in the ACC makes right at or above $2 million per.
