Looking to get some recommendations for high quality speakers to upgrade the sound for tailgates and other outdoor parties.

We have the generator to power it up and almost always tailgate in a large space (we have 4 parking passes) so bothering neighbors has never been a problem. Looking for something DJ type /professional quality for around $150-$300. Just need 1 single speaker (not a set) and would be easy to transport and carry. I've seen plenty of tailgates have some great speakers so wondering if anyone on the board had a recommendation.

Those little waterproof wireless blue tooth speakers bump loud and around $150

Can fit in a purse

We use ours everywhere

If you are in the Yellow Lot, then get something like this please:

But if you are in the Blue Lot, then grab yourself a couple of the following and you'll be set. Tell the blue lot folks I sent you. :D

We rented a speaker from Guitar Center in east Brunswick for the RU PSU tailgate. It was $50 for one day and it was a huge hit. Your welcome

in all seriousness. $300 will get you ONE DECENT speaker.
JBL Eon 610p.
If you can spend $1k total, then go ahead and get 4 of them for about $250 each. not much bass, but you can't expect anything from a little 10" woofer.
Look at the holiday deals for
EV ELX series. wood cabinet for a warmer sound compared to the plastic speaker cabinets.
If you've been to a walk to believe, I use 4 EV Elx tops so you have a point of reference for sound.

Buzz Aldrin was a good speaker when I saw him at a conference. Oh wait, what?

I hear Kyle Flood is available for speaking engagements these days.

His "1-0" speech is particularly inspiring, pre-game.

Absolutely can...it's a great thing to have. Especially for night games after more hours of drinking :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
