I was bumped to tan lot this year. How is the tailgating in the lot? Is it dead or is there a decent scene? Wondering if I should just sell my parking pass and park in the Johnson Park lot?

Make sure to bring your chaise lounge and sunscreen lotion!

Since half the people from your previous lot got bumped to the tan lot, the tailgating scene will be similar to what you experienced last year.

Knightingale does not go all the way to Tan but you can pick it up somewhere around the intersection of Frelinghuysen and Allison. And it's not the golf carts but a mini bus. At least that was last year.

Tan lot is grass, a great spot for tailgating, a long walk to and from (which is sometimes beneficial), best part is that there is never a wait getting out. We were there for a couple of years by choice, then wanted to be closer, but are now going back.

Depending on who you are, that might still be quite of a walk.

My suggestion would be to have a new Knightangale route that STARTS at Tan, goes down Frelinghuysen, turns left onto Allison to cover Light Blue then across Davidson and down Bartholomew to take care of Silver and Black.

Because of the additional passengers, the new route should have the mini bus 75liteweight is talking about.

Tan can be great if you are in the 1st row because you get a huge space to tailgate, throw the ball around, let the kids run, etc. I was in the tan last year and it was perfect for the games where I brought the family or came with my own party. For the other games we sold tan and paid up for Blue.

I agree and the administration might want to think about doing something family friendly in that lot to make it even more appealing to families.
