Yes, not happy with the final outcome but overall was pleasantly surprised with the team. It came down to 3 plays which were the difference in the game and the Mich St. play makers made the plays.
Our Defense got pressure on the QB but Cook is a beast and made the passes in tight coverage where only his receivers ( and they are beasts ). I think our D played well, it was that Mich St. play makers made the plays when needed, that was the difference.
I was impressed with Laviano, yes he had couple of miscues but overall against one of the better "D" that we will face, our "O" didn't do so bad.
We are 2-3, IND, MD & Army are must wins, gives us 5 wins and we need to steal one from either Mich, Neb or Wis, need to go 4 - 2 in the final 6, we go to a bowl game.
After yesterday's game, I think we have a chance to go 4 - 2 and make the bowl. Lots of games to be played and let's start with a win next week and get back to .500. We have a chance, take care of business against IND, Army & MD and steal one from either Mich, WIs or Neb. If we can pull that off with all the distractions we had this year, I would say it was an incredible year!
