Depends on the odds I was given. Wisconsin was still a winnable game. Today would've been more difficult if SHU didn't have their top two guys only play half the game combined, but we still could have won with the way we played.
Let's celebrate for a few days, then finish off the nonconference schedule. Can't cancel this win out by losing to an inferior opponent in the next few outings.
not me. I thought 1-3 all along and stuck with it...although I did pick RU to win in the prediction thread today

The 1st step in any rebuild is slowly regaining a confidence that you can win at home. And if the answer was "well Wisconsin isn't that good, the reality is they banked in a 3 and had a quirky finish to the 1st half that should have had Wisconsin down 5 to 6, instead up 1. The Wisconsin game really should have been a 10 to 12 point game without those 3s.
There are some cautionary items already touched on in other threads but the upside of this roster and chemistry is significantly better than years past.......and its showing up when things get a little wobbly.

Coming out of this 2-2 puts an over .500 season back on the table. It's all I ever asked for, just another step forward. Kudos to the team for putting it together these past two games. I definitely didn't think they had it in them and glad they dispelled my misguided judgement.
Beating a final 4, final 8 team recent history team in Wisky 3 oh at our home...and pounding the Hall today is a good experience far removed.
Could be some great years of Rutgers sports coming. Women's bball too. And others..

Yes - I predicted it. In fairness, I thought it would be Pitt and Wisconsin but I was expecting 2-2.
I'm not sure what the question is...the goal is to win vs Lafayette and go from there.
My bet on this program is fan-related. Make the RAC like Wisconsin and SHU and which home game is not within reach??
It's on RU to push this program by making the RAC "the home court" in the B1G like most everywhere else. If that happens, RU has enough talent to dance.
The outlook has certainly improved since last Sunday. It really was the Pitt game on top of the St. Bonaventure game that were concerning. I thought would could have been looking at an 0-4. Still not sure how good we can be, but the defense was notably better this week and that needs to be a constant. Still some uneven performances on the other end but I think we are going to have to live with that all year.
It all comes down to shooting when we have the nights where we hit a decent amount of shots we are going to win when we shoot bad we will not pretty simple the guys play hard every night
NUTS, I think we all would’ve signed up for 2-2 in the gauntlet beforehand. But after starting out 0-2, I was terribly worried.
That’s why the Wisky game might end up being the turning point if the entire season.
The team now knows that it’s strength is DEFENSE, rebounding, and running the break, not hoisting threes.
I would have said 2-2 was achievable, especially preseason. After Pitt, 0-4 seemed very possible too. To finish 2-2 going into Wisconsin isn’t bad. But we need a big upset win to erase the Bonaventure loss.

No. I wouldn’t waste my time with that bet. Too busy betting Rutgers would be in 1st place in B1G in a week after the MSU loss.
