Damn you Cali. As a veteran of this forum you know Navy was doomed to lose as soon as you start a stupid thread like this.
ya nice post... team beat houston last year and navy is a good teamIn his third year. And some of our board AD's wanted this clown. His offenses are more conservative than Flood's.
They didn't need to spike the ball since the receiver went out of bounds at the 1. They called the timeout and then out of the timeout called a run with 17 seconds left. Navy stopped them and they couldn't line up fast enough to run another play. Go Navy!UConn screwed up the end game, ball at 1, they call a time out instead of spiking the ball, then when the 1st and goal from 1 was stuffed, time ran out because they wasted their timeout on play before instead of spiking.

Of course. That's why the ending was awesome. I initially thought Navy was calling the TO to set up their defense.Good point ! But if they had the timeout, that they wasted, they till would have had another play. A spike only wastes 1 of the downs, and their was only time for 2 plays anyway.
Huh - they played Maine last week and Virginia next week? What're they doing playing the Academies back to back? Navy is AAC now; couldn't they get some leniency?
Oops. Confused them and Temple.Huh - they played Maine last week and Virginia next week?
