The level of arrogance that has been shown by Michigan and Ohio state against Rutgers since we joined this conference is just astounding.
Today, for the first time, we made them eat their arrogance. And I’m talking about a specific play:
The Ohio state fake punt.
We blew that play the F up AND we drew a penalty. We punched them right in the mouth there and said “no more of ur bs”
That play was a microcosm for the broader game. We stood tall and we went toe to toe as equal combatants.
Were they better? Yes. But could they afford the arrogance they have broadly displayed in the past? Absolutely not. And that was a reason to be proud today
