What the B1G needs to do is start up two B1G Academies, one in the west division, perhaps in Illinois, and one in the east division, possibly Maryland or New Jersey, or even northern Virginia.
Let any kid that wants to attend for sports go for free, all paid for by some "mysterious benefactor."
Of course, be sure to stress how it is for "academics"

Looking at the IMG website in the link above, they never say what the tuition is. That is how you sell, never let people see the high price.
But that is where the B1G Academy will force the issue. FREE for stud athletes.
The B1G Academy in Illinois will market the heck out of California and Texas, whereas the B1G Academy in Maryland will market the east coast and SEC territory.
