1. Nebraska. I think they have to be the favorite to win the whole thing. They may be challenged at the Final 4 but other than that I would think a clean sweep is in order. They have at least 2 5'4" guys who, while they aren't very big, but they sure are slow, can fill it up from up to 10'. Since everyone seemed to pick NU last I am assuming there is a major dyslexic issue in NJ?? Champs
2. Minnesota. Old Rick has plenty of time to help young Rick scouting and devising game plans. Including how to set up official visits4. 2nd round
3. Purdue. I have not watched them but I'm sure they have about 14 7'7" white dudes to make everybody's life miserable. Sweet 16
4. Maryland. Most of their wins will come via other teams being mesmerized and throwing up at some of the uniform combo's. Or is that football? 1st round
5. Michigan. I just didn't want to put anyone else here. NIT
6. Michigan St. They would be higher except I don't like green uniforms. Final 4
7. Wisconsin. This will be the first year they don't finish in the top 4 in the Big 10 in about 1000 years. Just don't have the ballers. Their coach will be on the hot seat following this season. NIT
8. Indiana. I think will be pretty decent by mid season but that may be too late. NIT
9. Penn State. This is Chambers last stand. Bye.
10. Northwestern. Collins will be looking for greener pastures all season and their players will relax to much thinking they are a shoe in for the tourney.
11. Ohio St. They could be lower real east and I hope they are. I love to see their fans squirm.
12. Illinois. Will steadily improve all season but it's a tall mountain in the Big 10.
13. Iowa. Fran joins several coaches on fishing trips during the recruiting season without a team to recruit to.
14. Rutgers. If you read my Nebraska write up the you may be one of the folks from NJ who like that I put RU here. Ha
Disclaimer: I don't know shit about any of the teams except NU and I just know it is a whole new group playing together, again, for about the 4th year in a row. Transfers in and out seem to be the norm in Lincoln. They have a lot of talent going about 8 deep with scorers, but the 2 bigs are god awful. They should just run a 5 guard offense and concede all rebounds. Miles will be gone at the end of the season. And we start over, again....and again, and again.....
