I haven't really seen a lot of goalpost moving on this.. there's always been a contingent that thought 18-13 has a shot (I am/was in this contingent though I am starting to see it more bac's way.. 18-13 would be in the conversation but likely on the wrong side of it), a contingent that thought 19-12, and the few who think 19-12 wouldn't be enough.

Someone will surely start some discussion (if we win) on the chances of finishing the last six games 5-1 or 6-0 but I don't think they'll talk about getting in at 17-14 lol.

The discussions always pop up after a win. We would need to beat Purdue to even sniff the bubble and as you said - 14 losses would probably be the wrong side of it regardless. The auto-bid is, at this point, our best chance.

All you have to do is put two relatively athletic defenders on Sandfort and Dix, and there isn't anyone else who can score enough. Really like what Drew Thelwell has brought, but he might not play and certainly won't be 100% if he does.

So per Richie, Ace doesn't have the flu (asthma attack messed him up against UMD). That being the case, it is absolutely imperative that RU wins this game. That would put them 1 game over .500 with 3 winnable and 3 tough games remaining on the schedule.
