attendance less than BAC. Both game times are awful for fans, especially Friday at 1PM. On the flip side players aren't missing classes so that is a good thing.
BTW...Doorson and CJ will not be the tallest guys on the court. The Mean Green from North Texas has a 7'1'' player.
Rutgers- 80 North Texas- 68
First game against a team with a little size and I think the guys come out a little slow but then make their second half run. Last 5 minutes or so North Texas makes it a little closer.
Attendance from civilians will get a slight uptick because a lot of people will be taking off from work or working half day (including me), but there won't be any students there due to Thanksgiving break, so it's a wash. 2,582 in the building.
I'm not one of those guys who says the ONLY think that matters is Ws and Ls. Especially when you have struggled as mightily as RU and are looking to improve, how you win or lose matters. I don't want to see us sluggish, over-confident, struggling, unfocused. So I think score matters: 70-59 W is a bad game for us.
This is a team that lost to Drexel by 20 and Texas Tech by almost 30
Gettys eats their 7ft 1'' center alive and has fun doing it
their next biggest guy is a 6'9'' guy from Syracuse NY who doesnt play much
in fact the team has a fun time at home as we go 5-0
