the Eugene decision.
He has had long enough to know his coach and fellow players. He has shown that he wants to win and been pretty tough with the knee injury.
The "thing" is that he chose to announce this the way he did. It was kind of cowardly in my opinion that he showed absolutely no sign of being a man by facing Pike and his teammates with his decision.
I cannot imagine his face to face with Pike who traveled to see him about this. But, it certainly should have been pretty damn hard to face him now,
I have always believed that players should do what they think is best for them. But, it doesn't mean to run and hide and then shoot off a missive over the internet.
I have lost a ton of respect for Eugene and really cannot, as I usually do, hope for the best for him.
