I feel really bad for the kids. They played their hearts out, but this loss is on Flood and Rossi. McDaniels did an effective job with Laviano, who was shaky at the start, but played much better as the game went on. We wasted brilliant run backs by Grant, because Rossi couldn't get any pressure on Falk and allowed him to sit back there in the pocket like a statue and pick us apart. The reason for the mess at the end with the TD and too many men on the field, was the fact that Flood and company BURNED all of their timeouts even before the 4th quarter. If they had even one timeout, they would have called it there and reset. If you noticed on that play, the entire defense was just standing around and that's why Craycraft (?) was so wide open.

When a team has nearly 100 YARDS in penalties like we did, you're not going to win. That's what we had today. That shows me an undisciplined team. The recent so-called scandals were NEVER reason to get rid of Flood. The loss today, reminds me why I think he's a TERRIBLE coach and why I have NEVER really liked him. This entire loss was on him (burning timeouts like there's no tomorrow) and Rossi's SHITTY bend but don't break defense. I don't care that our secondary is young and vulnerable. We we getting NO PUSH from the DL and Rossi rarely mixed it up sending LB's or even corner blitzes at Falk, who just stood back there and picked us apart. And please don't tell me that Hamilton would have made such a difference, because I don't think he would have. Rossi's scheme was incredibly flawed.

This was a terrible loss for the team. There is NO WAY we should have lost this game. I really feel bad for the kids. They deserved better from their coaches.
