This may be harsh, but it is true. Next to no talent, no heart, no team play and very poor coaching. They do nothing well. Rutgers hoops has to be the worst P5 program when you consider the facilities, and awful, extended bad results, combined with what we are seeing now.

I really don't know a realistic solution is. We are stuck with Eddie for the foreseeable future, and a new facility seems like a pipe dream at this point.

Going to be a loooong time before this team sniffs a winning record much less the postseason. Buckle up RU fans. I am not even sure this is rock bottom.

Agree...Unfortunately ,I wish all their games would be played in" Lost Wages" at midnight with no TV...They are too painful to watch...

What did Foreman do over the summer? Should have practiced his foul shots. 300 a day or more.

Wasn't really expecting much this year, but thought we would be better than last year.

Not the case. Pretty much getting what I thought from sanders, daniels, Williams. Freeman has been a pleasant surprise.

But did not anticipate getting little from Lewis, Diallo, and foreman. They are killing us offensively and defensively.

Hits the nail on the head. What else can be said, we are truly an awful program and team right now. Completely unwatchable.

I said 10-12 wins as a prediction, let's cut this down to 8-10 wins.

Way backwards when you consider what we see on the court, and the fact that a program is built on recruiting and we have zero recruits coming in for 2016 and anyone we now sign will be more of the same border line big ten talent we take a chance on, how many of those chances have produced a productive player??

LOL at you guys that think a 20 year old is going to better his FT % dramatically in 6 months. guys in NBA play for years and still can't make free throws with the best coaches money can buy. do you guys even watch basketball?

I have been saying for years that the men basketball program has been stuck in quicksand and there seems to be no way out.The program has experienced coaching changes without the desired results because the talent is MAC level at best. The names change but the results remain the same .Sadly, the dwindling number of season ticket holders have watched indifference from the athletic department for decades as shown by kicking the can down the road in regard to RAC/Practice facility construction.Expressing frustration on a message board is the only means of saying this nonsense needs to end because membership in the B1G hasn't been the answer anymore than being a member of the Big East.

and for those of us who have been hung up on how many stars our recruits have, I'm pretty sure our zero recruits have zero stars.

at this point of playing basketball all their lives, either you can shoot or you cant shoot, its not going to get appreciably better

We are paying Mr Jordan quite a bit of money and in return we are seeing garbage for a team. Jordan needs to go.

Everything about Rutgers football and basketball is bad. No vision, no fiscal responsibility, no competence. Just dumb people making even dumber decisions.

I watched the Ru vs Clemson game. I saw some pretty uninspiring basketball.

I dont even know where to start

meanwhile Clemson(who we beat last year) is hustling and everything they chucked up...off balance>>>>in a crowd....went in

Can ANY of our guys FINISH on a drive????

Agree with the OP. I mean outside of Deshawn Freeman who is phenomenal, DJ Foreman and maybe Sanders when he gets more games under his belt, Rutgers is a MAAC team in the Big 10 at the moment. I also think Doorson could compete at this level as well. Rutgers really misses his presence inside badly. Can't imagine him being any worst than Greg Lewis at this point

As for Eddie Jordan, I think it's funny he decided to implement an offense he says is similar to the way Golden State plays without having shooters on the team. The offense is beyond bad..it's atrocious. Basketball is a copy cat game but Golden State is a special team with special players and Rutgers really lacks enough highly skilled guys to try and play their style of ball. That's on Eddie

And lastly, Bishop Daniels..I know these are just kids man and they are playing the game they love but he is very frustrating to watch. He has a ton of natural ability as far as athleticism and he plays hard and makes great plays every now and then but he's a loose canon out there and makes poor decisions with the ball every other play it seems. It really hurts the flow of the game for Rutgers. He's a senior but plays like it's his 1st year out of high school

Consider all that with the fact they they have no recruits for 2016 yet, and the situation with the facility (I don't usually make a big fuss about this because there are some smaller schools without great facilities that still have winning programs) and it's hard to think this program is making progress

It looks like Bishop Daniels has never been coached in his life...including now.

Jordan is a great guy and RU legend, but we are now at Craig Littlepage era levels. Is Danny Hurley available at years end?

The players probably are far better shooters in shoot arounds when nobody is guarding them.

We all seem to forget that when EJ arrived, we had nothing. Give the man a chance and let's see what he does. You guys are so impatient.

Nothing I could say would turn the tide of negativity here. I'd rather not be ridiculed for believing in a group of young men learning how to play together.

I saw a flat team that looked ravaged by the time change on Wednesday. Down 2 guys, then the PG midway through the first half...we just didn't have an answer for a relatively veteran ACC squad.

It's 6 games. I'm in for at least 25 more. That's where I'm at with it.

Backwards? 3 years ago we had 3 players on this team. The only way backwards from that is disbanding the basketball program.

This team has talent. Just have some faith and you will see we this team will win some big games.

Wishful thinking. This team has very little talent compared to the league we play in. Michigan St.? Please. Maryland? No chance. Michigan? Same. Ohio St? I am not sure about Penn St., or our crossovers, but we don't have 1 player that would start on those first four teams.

Coaching seems atrocious. The kids don't look to have any idea of what they are even trying to do. Their effort is weak on D and the O has no direction. Dribble dribble one on one chuck.

It's horrible, low IQ basketball. We aren't learning how to shoot at this stage. For 20 years, we have a had an awful shooting team. It is painful to watch when the game is played like this.

However many games we won last year, I'll take the under, sadly.

How can you be flat if you're hungry to erase the St.John's and Creighton disappointments?

Time change? They got out there Sunday and Clemson had the same time change.

Truly remarkable the excuses that can be made for everything.

After 20 years as a season ticket holder I did not renew, and I am thoroughly enjoying the basketball season this year, there are great games on TV every night and a bottle of water from my kitchen doesn't cost anywhere near 4 bucks, my Tylenol consumption has been dramatically reduced and I sleep much better on evening following a game. Oh and I also don't feel like I am an idiot for spending the $1500.00 dollars for the tickets and parking.

I hear you. I gave my tickets away tonight. This will be my last year after 26 seasons if the new AD doesn't make an effort the revamp this dump of a program or if Eddie doesn't pull in a stud or two during the spring.

Well, I am of the mindset that if you aren't moving forward you are going backwards. We aren't moving forward.
