Don't look now, but Arella, Diamond, and Zippy are all shooting 38% or better on 3-pointers this season, all with 20 or more attempts. Diamond seems like a natural shooter, but both Arella and Zippy have worked hard to extend their range to the 3-pt line. what's great is all three are super quick and athletic, so if you try to take away the three they have the ability to blow by you. Meanwhile, in much smaller sample sizes, both Martino and Lafayette also seem to have nice jumpers. I don't expect Arella/Diamond/Zippy to stay at these astronomical levels all season, but I'm about to ready to say that RU has three true 3-pt threats for the first time...ever?

agreed I really like Martino's shot I hope she gets more time; Sammy what about our bigs, what do you think because I still think we are thin up front; Have you heard anything about Chyna Cornwell?

I don't believe anyone has heard anything official about Chyna, although someone said they saw on Twitter that she's quarantining.

Singleton is much improved, and has more confidence (CVS spoke to that during the post game presser). She needs to stay out of foul trouble, but she's got some nice moves around the basket, and loved her FT form last night.

I'm very high on Sakima. She's got arms and legs for days, seems to have decent hands and finishing skills, and a decent mid range game/FT shot too. She's not quite polished yet--I think Clif is a good comparison on the men's side, though he's a better rebounder and she might be a bit more polished offensively.

That being said, no doubt that we are undersized/under-experienced in the post. That's why having a great rebounding guard like Arella is so key. But it will be something the team needs to overcome all year.
