Flood again did not go into too much detail about the status of Leonte Carroo. Carroo was able to make it out onto the practice field to participate in the team's usual Thursday walk-thru. They don't typically wear pads and helmets during walk-thru, so don't look too much into that. Flood said Carroo keeps improving his health each day, but will likely be a game-time decision. An injury report update will be posted tomorrow. Flood was excited to talk about the sellout. He said the student section has become a force during the course of the game. In terms of more game prep, Flood said the entire offensive line will have to be ready for Joey Bosa. Flood said Bosa can play anywhere on the d-line and on third downs he shifts to the middle, so the burden won't fall on JJ Denman for the whole game. For recruiting, it's around the time recruits start applying for early enrollment. Flood would not get into specifics, but said he does think Rutgers will get some early enrollees and some will sign Big Ten tenders. But, Flood admitted it is still a little ways off before they get approved.
