Stupid question but we have until April 30th to renew right as long as I don't mind paying at once?

Everything they send keeps saying 2/28, even logging in to my account the renewal page says due date of 2/28 with no mention of a payment plan.

To me makes no sense to renew until the last moment (either way the total cost of the tickets is out of my bank by 4/30 so why do I care if split two times?)

I was told by my account rep the Feb 28 deadline is only if you want the billing plan. You can make payment in full April 30 if you don't want the billing plan. I know it makes no sense...

Confirmed what Ready said, you have until 4/30 to make a lump sum payment if you didn't do billing plan.

Absolutely correct - spoke to my ticket guy today to confirm that, since I also found the emails to be a little confusing, implying you had to pay half before 2/28 to hold your tix (not true).

Yeah. Kind of confusing. I asked my rep if I could move down a few rows. He said the section was full, but he recorded my request preference, and said they would not know what's available until after the April 30th deadline. He assured me I would not lose my original seats, even though I would not pay for them before the deadline. Hmmmm. OK. In RU I trust. I'll check in just before that April deadline, in any case.

I posted this same question on Twitter and MANY people responded that you MUST pay half now... whether you are doing the payment plan or not.

Typical RU here...being told many different answers from different people. I am also going to call today to see what they say.

I don't have the money to pay for all of my tickets in full before Sunday and would like to pay it all in one lump sum AFTER I get my tax returns this year.

Redlight, you spend your funds and let others handle their cash flow. It just may be that several folks may have to make an additional "donation" to IRS around this time of the year.

Simple partial solution...put the half due money on.a credit card and float it for another 30+ days. Basic cash management! Same would hold true in April. And those who may be fortunate to be getting an IRS refund an pay or donate then. There are lots of options to consider.....all are good.

Honestly what a confusing job by RU.

Just got a call from a New Brunswick number. Was a representative stating that deadline was the 28th and did I want to renew. When I mentioned isn't the actual deadline on 4/30 she just thanked me for my time and said she hopes to see me at another event in the future.

I understand this lady is probably a paid telemarketer but give her a better script. Completely confusing.

Spoke with my rep today, 2/28 is the deadline to renew and still have the option of a payment plan. Wound up just renewing in full. Back in the saddle again.

From personal experience, my suggestion would be if you need to call to renew I would recommend doing it today. The ticket office is tough to get a hold of over the weekend, unless you plan on doing it online by 2/28

And now an email where every other recipients email address was visible as a CC rather than a BCC. How incompetent can they be.

(Oh and the email was stating how despite the deadline being Sunday the ticket office is closed during the weekend)

I came to say the same thing as Raritan83. WTF. How freaking amateur is this whole set up. It's a multi-million dollar program but they can't hire someone smart enough to not expose my email to every one and they don't even encrypt their messages.
