It boils down to if RU's offer is committable on his OV weekend. If it is he commits to RU, if not he goes to Toledo. I don't think Ash will accept a commitment without visiting campus first.

Toledo has zero DE commitments and only 4 DEs on this year's roster. RU has 3 DE commitments already ( sure opposing Coaches could be using that ? )

Everyone here, of course, knows at this point that Toledo football was way better than Rutgers this year -- #54 compared to #141 Rutgers. According to Sagarin, they beat us by 3 TDs. Some humility in order here.

I thought he said he was announcing where he was going, then changed it to just announce his top two.

He hasn't visited RU yet so I have a feeling the coaches told him to wait until his visit. Or they could have told him that they are waiting to hear from others(Ryan Thaxton?) so his offer may not be commitable just yet.

Thaxton has a lot offers. Tennessee, Mississippi, Virginia, Vandy, Air Force, etc.
Would be a good DE commit for RU.

He said he was announcing him commitment on 12/31 at 6:00pm. On the morning of 12/31, he announced his top two and never made a further announcement.
