Yes, RU is an established program now and in a very good place in the Big Ten and therefore YES it is COMPLETELY reasonable to expect a program like this to pull in several 4* guys each year. Perhaps even getting as many as 5-6 isn't too much to aspire to given the talent in the region and the conference affiliation. BUT, traditionally, RU has pulled in the 4*s later in the recruiting period and this class as it stands right now is tracking to be as good as any prior class EVER so fretting over not having pulled in a couple of 4* guys on this date is a bit of a waste of energy IMO. I truly do not this this is a RutgersAl level view.

Here is where recent classes stood on June 16th or at least when the decommits are not taken into account. Note that there is only two 4* across all these classes by June 16th.

 4 Commits; one 4*, two 3*, one 2*

7 commits, all 3* except one 2* and one 4*. Landing Savage early was huge, no doubt.

 2 commits, both 3*.

 Four 3* commits.

 Five 3* commits.

Seven commits, five 3*, two 2* (worthy to note that they were Tsmis and Waife, not bad pickups)

Ten commits, eight 3*, two 2* (Heeman and Behr, again not bad pickups)

Nine commits, six 3*, three 2* (too early to comment at all on the 2*s)

Ten commits, nine 3*, one 2*. NOTE: This class is already very solid and there are three more bump periods so it is likely that Russo at minimum will be bumped.
