Hopefully the t-storms hold off until after 5pm. If anyone one here goes, make sure you stop by the Women's Track and Field table and say hello. My daughter should be one of the student-athletes there to welcome visitors.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers football will host its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 3-5 p.m. at High Point Solutions Stadium. The afternoon will feature an autograph session with select players, interactive activities including inflatables for kids, demonstrations with student-athletes from other sports and a live band.

Gates open at 3 p.m. with on-field events that include performances from the Rutgers drum line and the Rutgers cheer and dance teams, as well as meet-and-greets with Rutgers student-athletes, coaches and athletic director Pat Hobbs.

Select football players will be available for an autograph session that begins at 3 p.m.

Sodexo concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase and Junior Knights Club members can pick up their 2016-17 membership cards and a voucher for a complimentary snack courtesy of Affinity Federal Credit Union.

Fans will be able to get free football posters for autographs and have their pictures taken with the Scarlet Knight. As a special thank you, all fans in attendance will receive a voucher to attend the Rutgers women's soccer home opener against Providence at 7 p.m. that evening.

I wonder how many folks are going today? Much nicer day than scrimmage but no practice to watch.

The women's soccer game time has now been moved up to 4 pm due to the forecast of bad weather later today.
