Was watching Steven A Smith today talk about how Big Bens Sunday was more impressive than Brady's because all Tom throws are short passes and they don't stretch the field at all! Let's keep in mind his brother may have the same mentality and NOT because Laviano can't throw downfield but because maybe that's the way they like to roll...Seems to me the Pats do OK on offense...And no I am not saying Laviano is Brady or our TE is Gronk....Just trying to have everyone relax and give the kid a chance...
Also the Browns coach has decided to bench Manzel after a very good performance on Sunday and his quote was "I am going with the QB that I think gives us the best chance to win this Sunday, not in the future but THIS Sunday" Sound familiar...
I'll say this again, I was pulling for Rettig because of his potential but will have faith in our OC & coach to know the right QB to pick. Coach's job is on the line. He went with Laviano for a reason and has said it was a close call so he shouldn't have a problem switching but with him completing 75% of his passes and being mobile I get why he wants to extend his chance a bit...
If he shits the bed vs Kansas then I'll be screaming with you all!
