Tonight (Thur) U Miami vs U Cinn

Small-time thinking.

The worse Miami does, the better the chance Golden gets cut loose at the end of the season. Then we'll have to listen to moronic suggestions that he would somehow be the right hire for Rutgers.

At this point, I hope he wins the friggin ACC.

Thanks for reminding me. Tuberville was an assistant at the U a goodly number of years ago.Always liked him as a Coach.

Small-time thinking? Root for who you want to root for. Go Bearcats!

I'll always root for Cincinnati as they were doomed in the conference realignment situation, but unlike another doomed school never gave us a hard time and have taken steps to improve their situation. Go Bearcats!

This is the week we usually do something stupid and lose a game we should win. They need to win cause I'll be in tallahassee next week for the big showdown

Should win ? Miami is a whooping 6 point favorite. At Cinn. Should be an interesting game. Miami w more '4 Star' talent, Cinn with the home field advantage, and an excellent coach in Tuberville.

This will be my main game tonight to watch, and will check in on Steelers vs Ravens and Yanks vs Red Sox during commercials.

Nippert Stadium is VERY LOUD .

Yes, you can root for whoever you want to because fans rooting do not determine the outcome of the game, only the players can do that.

7-3 Cinn.

Black Out Game ! Cinn 2nd string QB might be an All American ! wow.

What a run for a TD and now a great punt return almost for a TD and a TD on the next play. Nice start Cincy. 14-3.

20-17 Miami up. Ex RU Commit, and Cedar Grove HS alum, David Njoku just caught a 40 yard bomb to the 2 yard line.

Was Miami always running an up tempo spread offense before this year under Golden? I don't recall if they were and the tempo definitely seems faster. I don't watch them too much so not sure. Did he change that this year?

I've always thought Miami should use an offense like that especially with all the speed you can recruit in Florida.

Third String QB stArting first game. How does he look like he should be in the NFL and our QB can not threw pass 15 yards?

Why did they go for that on 4th down. They still need a FG either way. Get the FG and try and come up with a stop or onsides kick. And then if you can get it back try for TD/2pt conversion.

Gotta say Cincy DBs do a good job getting their hands in there and trying to deflect the ball.

Yea I didn't get that, I might have missed it but I didn't hear Palmer/Pollack even debating the choice. You need 2 scores, TD/2pt and FG. The order you get them in doesn't matter. Take whichever comes first. Well that's Golden for you.

The Fire Golden banner plane flew quite a way's for this game :

Two things, I can actually read the names on the Miami jerseys this week. And, the Miami QB throws just as many 5-10 yard passes as Laviano does. He only threw 2 deep balls in the second half. Other than that, no difference.
