This weekend was the state group track and field meet for New Jersey. I looked up the results and seasons bests for some recruits. As has been posted Nick Krimin won the state Group 3 shot put title with a throw of 58-08.25, the second best throw overall. He also finished 4th in the discuss with a throw of 159-07. He has personal bests this year of 60-4.75 in the shot put and 177-8 in the discuss. Krimin is one of the top throwers in the state. These are very good throws.
Kelvin Harmon finished 8th in the group 1 400 meters with a time of 50.15 12th in the 110M hurdles with a time of 15.54, and 9th in the high jump with a 5-10. His season is over. His best times for the year were 15.54 in the 110M hurdles, 1.01.87 in the 400M hurdles, and 6' in the high jump.
Jordan Fuller finished 14th in the Group 1 100M with a time of 11.39 and 12th in the long jump with 20-06.75M. His best times and jumps for the season are 11.01 in the 100M and 21-10.25 in the long jump.
Dy'Melle Parker finished 5th in the 110M Hurdles with a time of 14.81 and 7th in the 400M hurdles with a time of 57.13 in Group 2.
Charles Snorweah finished the year with best times of 11.08 in the 100M, 22.26M 200, 49.28 in the 400 M, and 22-4 in the long jump. He think his season was cut short due to his surgery.
Rashan Gary finished the year with best throws of 50-4.5 in the shot put and 146-4 in the discuss.
Donatae Owens finished the season with best time of 22.31 in the 200M and 49.57 in the 400M.
Ron'dell Carter finished the season with throws of 44-4 in the shot put and 125-9 in the discuss.
Trevor Morris has best times of 11.00 in the 100M, 21.94 in the 200M and a best of 21-2.5 in the long jump.
Brad Hawkins finished 7thin the high jump with 6'2 and third in the 4x100 M in group 2. He has been times at 11.34 in the 100M this season.
Cesar Ruiz finished 8th in the Group 2 discuss with a throw of 136-01. His best throws of the year were 44-4 in the shot put and 143-7 in the discuss.
Overall, I there were a lot recruits not taking part in track. Second, I was really surprised by the lack of top tier times, jumps, and throws by some pretty highly recruited players.
