Started last night with RU placing a couple in the top 15 for mens pole vault. Defending champ Chloe Timberg goes tonight but is not the favorite and will have a tough time defending her title. ESPN will be broadcasting

Looks like she finished in second place at NCAAs. I'm sure she's disappointed but what a great career and an amazing athlete for RU Track and Field!

Congratulations to Chloe on her 2nd place finish. Just think...national collegiate silver and gold from a Rutgers track athlete!!! And...she is capable of much more and...I hope we keep hearing more from her post-RU!

To be fair the woman who won the NC from Washington literally set the NCAA pole vault record.
In all fairness, Chloe WON the NCAA championship last year. This year she was dealing with injuries and some tweaking of her technique. I'm sure she was a bit disappointed that she did not repeat this year and she would acknowledge that her challenger from Washington is an amazing talent. I'm pulling for Chloe to keep refining her technique over the next few weeks and months so she can compete at the international level. We were lucky to have her at Rutgers!
