If MSU has in fact just suspended Tucker and not fired him, it’s a smart move. Firing him would open up the portal for all players and given that it is still very early in the semester, some of their best players may have transferred. My understanding is that with a suspension, that option is off the table and if they fire him in three weeks or so, it will be much more difficult for players to transfer. have no idea if this in any way played into their decision, but if it did, it was a shrewd move. I expect he’ll ultimately get fired, but maybe not for a few weeks.
