You know who else has not had back to back home games this season? Purdue! Tonight is their 2nd home game in a row of their only back to back conference home games this season. I guess his point could be that having three straight home games, or a couple of back to back ones, could help you get some momentum? But those back to backs would have to be balanced with back to back road games, or three straight on the road. Getting back home after a road loss gives you a better chance to right the ship and avoid a losing streak. Both have advantages.

(He's still right about Mag being an amazing defender, though!)

Well, they could make it back to back games on the road at USC/UCLA, or at Oregon/Washington, with only one trip out west every year for the eastern/midwest teams.

Speaking of standings, I noticed this last night... assuming a Purdue home win over Minnesota:

Rutgers win - tied for 7th at 6-7 with Minnesota and Indiana

Rutgers loss - sole possession of 12th place at 5-8
