CB Henry Miller – Gateway (Fla.)
The four-star Kissimmee corner spent some time with the RU coaches during last weekend’s satellite camp down in Florida.

“It was real good I loved talking to the coaches they are a great group of guys,” Miller told Scarlet Nation. “I just chilled, they just wanted me to come out to hang out at the camp. I was with coaches Rossi, Wilson, Panagos and I believe McDaniels.”

Rutgers is currently included in Miller’s top 11 finalists and he mentioned when he may get up to Piscataway.

“Hopefully this summer. If not, I might get an official in,” Miller said.

OT Elijah Johnson – DeMatha (Md.)
Rutgers appears to be in a very good place with the Maryland offensive tackle, especially after last week’s unofficial visit to Piscataway. Scarlet Nation has also learned that Johnson has reached out to former Scarlet Knight Lorenzo Waters for his thoughts on RU.

“He was telling me how it was a great place,” Johnson said of Waters. “He didn’t want to pressure me, but he just wanted to make sure I go somewhere that is the right fit for me.”

RB Trey Sneed – Fleming Island (Fla.)
The Rutgers commit had tentative plans to visit later this week, although he confirmed with Scarlet Nation last night that he will not be making the trip, due to a busy schedule back home.

LB Solomon Manning – Colonia
Yesterday marked the commitment of three-star Solomon Manning to Rutgers. He has performed very well on the camping circuit and is just shy of being a four-star prospect, according to Rivals.com.

“Manning is another good, in-state pick up for Rutgers that will pay dividends down the road. He has the size to play in the Big Ten and there is room for him to fill out his frame,” said Rivals.com Northeast recruiting analyst Adam Friedman. “More importantly, the staff asked him to get faster before he could earn a spot on the roster and he has done so. Look for Manning to start recruiting more of the in-state talent.”
