Class of 2017 Unio DE Mike Tverdov (brother of former RU starting DT Pete Tverdov) picked up an offer Friday night as he was very impressive. He had excellent explosion off the line and was just too quick for anyone to handle. He also holds a Temple offer, but I think it is only a matter of time before his recruitment really takes off. I will have a full article on him later today, but here is a quote I thought you would all like. He told me this right after receiving the RU offer:
“It happened so quick. I really didn’t know what to say. I looked up at my mom and she just made a face. It just hit my heart that Rutgers finally extended me an offer. It is really exciting for me. I don’t even know what to say, I am still in awe. It means everything to me.”
