Neither received life threatening wounds. One was hit in the elbow. They were at an off campus party celebrating Jackson winning the Heisman Trophy. According to one witness there was an issue at the front door when some locals tried to crash the party. It spilled out into the street where they and a women received gunshot wounds.

Maybe they should have kept Charlie's signs up and posted them at the door of the party? Glad nobody was seriously injured. Hard to understand why a night for celebration turns into violence.
