Two Sundays in a row we blew a game in the ninth inning.

We are 5-5 in baseball but should be 7-3. A week ago Sunday we led Boston College going into the 9th and we gave up 7 runs. Now yesterday our freshman pitcher from Monroe threw 7 shutout innings against Old Dominion. We go into the bottom of the 9th leading 3-0 and we have two outs and we proceed to give up 4 runs. There is no excuse for blowing these games. We should have let the guy who pitched a very good eighth continue into the 9th. There is a big difference between 7-3 and 5-5 when most of our games are played in Florida. I sure hope we can steal a couple games in the 9th.
