According to TH he will play receiver - I could've seen him as a safety.

So is his family background Austrian economists or Mexican actresses? [winking]

In any event, welcome

On a related note, are we full yet at WR? Still want room for Lewis and others.

EDIT: Anderson is class of 2018.

One of the fastest kids in the state and is 6'4". Flashed in pretty much every camp he was at. Has some serious twitch for someone his size.

Buckeye here. First, congrats on a solid recruiting class so far, Just by looking at your front page, it looks to be around 3.00 on Rivals and that's decent. I think you guys will really warm up to Ash big-time. He just needs a couple of years to get his system going. Several Buckeyes in the NFL have already thrown compliments his way.

Now the reason I'm here. You guys need to pull in some highly rated 3 and 4 stars from Ohio. I know this sounds strange from a Buckeye but with limited numbers (maybe 20), I doubt we pull in any more Ohio talent especially with the rest of our targets being national high 4 and 5 star recruits. The lone exceptions - if OSU has room - is A Riep and J. Harris - and they might be squeezed out by numbers. I'm pulling for you guys (and ex-Buckeye Ash) to land some of the great talent left in Ohio instead of UM, MSU, Wisky etc... I'm sure Ash is all over some of the Ohio recruits but if he/Rutgers could recruit Ohio and especially NJ, man, you'd be very competitive with some of the upper tier programs.

In a commitment thread? Come on.

Welcome aboard.

With this commit and Shameem Jones visiting campis next week wirh his family the Eddie Lewis to Syracuse thing does not sound too crazy. Babers runs a pass happy offense that any WR Would love.

I think we take 5 or 6, especially when all can play both ways, Hayek is actually listed as a safety on 247, also has the frame to add weight and play TE.

Kid is a great example that seeing a recruit in person is more important than recruiting site stars to coaches. Had one offer from Stony Brooke before camping.

Pretty underwhelming offer list but sometimes u gotta go on instinct and obviously Ash saw something in this kid. Good to really hit the offense hard, but we need to get some D going soon.

I know they are brodo, I'm old but not obsolete, just referencing last commitment thread where I tried to trick the poster who asked if they were real. I guess it's a fail when you have to explain it. :joy:

6'4, 4.4 speed

I'm thinking that's what they saw

This is the type of athlete we need in the program. Once you have a bunch of guys with those measurables, then out of them plays the smartest. Most programs are stuck having to chose between the athletic kid who can't get his playbook right or the smart kid who is a step too slow.
More Hayek please
